Why teams need this

Your current QA process isn't a process.

It's whoever has time that day.

Developers test on the same machine they built on

They know where the buttons are. They know what the app is supposed to do. Real users don't — and that gap is where bugs live.

Client feedback after delivery costs more than testing before it

A revision round after handoff takes hours. A rejected delivery takes days. A bad public launch takes weeks to recover from.

Enterprise QA platforms aren't built for your scale

Sales calls, procurement processes, and $5,000 minimums were designed for companies with 500 engineers. Not for a 12-person product team or a boutique agency shipping client work.

How it works

A testing process that fits how your team actually ships.

No onboarding call. No contract. Post a test in minutes and have real feedback before your next deploy.

1

Write your test brief

Describe what you're shipping — a new feature, a client site, a plugin update. Write the instructions, set the scope, and define what success looks like. Testers follow your brief, not their own agenda.

  • Set the URL or upload your plugin zip
  • Attach staging credentials if the app requires login
  • Specify target devices and browsers
  • Set a deadline — typically 48–72 hours
2

Build your feedback form

Use a built-in template for common scenarios — checkout flow, onboarding review, cross-browser check — or build a custom form with rating scales, screenshots, multiple choice, and free text. Every tester answers the same questions so you can compare responses across submissions.

3

Set your slot count and pay rate

Choose how many testers you need and what each earns. Higher pay attracts Rising, Top, and Elite testers with stronger track records. The cost estimate updates live — you see exactly what you'll pay before you commit.

4

Pay and publish

Checkout via Stripe. Your test goes live immediately — verified testers who match your device and browser requirements can see and claim slots right away. No approval queue, no waiting.

5

Review, approve, and export

Submissions arrive as testers complete them. Watch their screen recording, read their structured answers, approve what you want. Send a finding to Jira, Linear, GitHub, or Slack — or export CSV, JSON, or a ZIP with recordings for your client.

For WordPress agencies

Test every client delivery before handoff.

Every WordPress site you build carries your name after launch. A plugin conflict, a checkout bug, or a broken mobile layout that your client finds before you do is a trust problem — and a revision cost you absorb.

QATested's WordPress sandbox testing lets you upload a plugin or theme, provision a real isolated WordPress environment for each tester, and get structured feedback before the client ever sees it. WooCommerce, Elementor, Yoast, and ACF conflict testing built in.

Test your next WordPress delivery →
  • Real WordPress environment per tester — not a shared staging site
  • Plugin zip upload — no credentials to share or staging server to maintain
  • Conflict testing against WooCommerce, Elementor, Yoast, ACF, and more
  • Structured feedback form — not a freeform bug report
  • Screen recording of every session
  • Export results as CSV or ZIP for client-facing deliverables
What's in every submission

Not just a bug report. A complete submission package.

Screen recording

Every tester records their full session in-browser — no Loom account needed. Watch exactly what they did, where they hesitated, and what they missed.

Structured answers

Testers answer the exact questions you defined — rating scales, yes/no, screenshots, long text. Not freeform paragraphs you have to interpret.

Screenshot evidence

Required screenshots at key checkpoints. Visual proof attached to every submission.

Discussion thread

Each test has a dedicated discussion thread for follow-up questions before submission deadline.

Export anywhere

Copy a spreadsheet-ready table, download CSV or JSON, or grab a ZIP with recordings. Or send a finding to Jira, Linear, GitHub, or Slack — one-way into tools you already use.

Dispute resolution

If a submission doesn't meet the brief, reject it with a reason. Testers can dispute rejections. A moderator reviews the evidence and makes a fair call.

Pricing

You set the price. We handle the rest.

No subscription required. Pay per test, per slot, per approved submission. The platform fee is 20% on top of tester pay — unused slots refund automatically after your review window.

FAQ

Common questions from teams and agencies

Contracts, billing, client handoffs, WordPress deliveries, and how QATested compares to enterprise QA platforms.

Do we need a contract or minimum commitment?
No. QATested is pay-per-test — no annual contract, no sales call, and no minimum beyond the per-test floor (~$24 for a 3-slot smoke test). Post when you need QA; skip weeks when you do not.
Can multiple people on our team post tests?
Yes. Each teammate can create a developer account and post tests independently. Reuse the same brief and form templates across releases so every round produces comparable feedback.
Can we test client work before handoff?
Yes. Point testers at staging or production URLs, attach login credentials when the app requires auth, and export structured submissions with recordings to share with clients or attach to delivery packages.
How does billing work?
You pay at checkout via Stripe when you publish. You set pay per slot and slot count; a 20% platform fee applies. You only pay for approved submissions — unused slots refund automatically after your review window.
What is included in each submission?
Every approved submission includes an in-browser screen recording, structured answers to your custom form, optional screenshots, and exportable data in CSV, JSON, or ZIP format.
Can WordPress agencies test plugins before client delivery?
Yes. Upload a plugin or theme zip — each tester gets an isolated WordPress sandbox with your extension installed. See the WordPress plugin testing page for sandbox pricing and workflow.
How is this different from UserTesting or Testlio?
Enterprise platforms usually require sales calls, contracts, and higher minimums. QATested is self-serve: post a test in minutes, pay per approved slot, own your feedback form, and export everything without an account manager.
Do you offer volume pricing?
If you run five or more tests per month, contact us to discuss volume pricing and fitting QATested into your release cadence.
